Well… I did it. I survived a weekend with hundreds of junior highers. Am I exhausted? Yes! Am I sore? Yes! Did I possibly gain a couple pounds from the camp food? Maybe… Which I don’t get! I was constantly moving the entire weekend! One of those movements included cross country skiing. Which would be one of the reasons I am sore… the other is sleeping on those darn bunk beds. But, I think maybe my body went into hibernation mode since it was so cold and stored every piece of food I put into it. Nonetheless, it’s nothing a few hours on the treadmill can’t fix 🙂 However! The extra pounds could be attributed to the constant movement though. I could have built a lot of my muslce back up. Since muscle weighs more than fat… which I don’t like! I had been able to drop a few in the last couple weeks and I was excited! But then I noticed my legs weren’t as hard as they once were… no definition. So… girls… here’s what I have determined. Weight is indeed just a number. You may lose weight, but it may mean you are losing muscle mass too. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want my legs to jiggle… I want them to be somewhat hard… sooo I will probably end up weighing a little more once that muscle comes back. So, I will no longer concentrate on numbers. I will learn to be happy with me. Wow… that came out of nowhere. Hope my girl readers get something out of this blog 🙂 I am done…
I forgot to mention that the Bishop’s cat, Punky Brewster, stayed with us while they were in the Bahamas. Jim really fell in love…
Me=slightly jealous 🙂
you=jealous of Punky. Me=jealous of Jim. Does my kitty ever fall asleep on me? nooooooooo. Does she ever cuddle with me? noooooooo. What’s Jim got that I don’t?!? Skittles?!? hmmmmm….
Those pictures of Jim and Punky are just too adorable, I love them!!
Don’t worry Wendy, your time is coming SOON!
