I got to go to the Great Wolf Lodge Saturday and Sunday with my D-group. Let me tell you, I never got to go any place like that when I was in high school. They have a sweet indoor water park, arcade, Starbucks, fudge shop, sweet rooms, etc… I had a blast and my girls did too. I am totally worn out though, even with the extra hour of “sleep.” I had to sleep in a pull out bed and those matresses are about a half inch thick and of course my shoulder was on one of the metal bars on the frame. I woke up at 4:30, wide awake and ready to go… but I didn’t have to get up until 7:15… so I tried to sleep until then, but I think I got a total of 30 more minutes of sleep. Eh, well… sleep isn’t important, right?
Other than that, we have been busy with work and other stuff with friends and family. I had my first Mary Kay party last Thursday. It was a pretty good turn out and lots of fun. This Saturday is “Cousin’s Day Out.” Pretty much all us Houghteling cousins are getting together at our house to catch up. Good times! It’s been too long…
Let’s have a moment of silence for the Hudsonville football team… their season is done because they lost to powerhouse Muskegon. It would have been fun to go to the dome again this year… maybe next year??
