So I told Jim the other day that I really want to go on a camping/hiking trip with him out west. Do you want to know how serious I am about this? I am bidding on hiking boots on ebay… In 2 hours I will be the proud owner of $180 boots that I am getting for $50.00. No else has bid on them yet (probably because no one is planning a hiking trip), so hopefully no one bids in the next two hours!
Next purchase: a good hiking pack… unless someone has one I can borrow 🙂 I have one stipulation: it can’t weigh more than 5 pounds empty!

Is this the same Wendy I lived with?? Girl, you are crazy! But- I give you mad props for willing to go and be adventurous! You know this is making it hard on the rest of us wives whose husbands want us to be all hikey/campy and we refuse to give in! 🙂
