Updates… what else?

Well, I believe we are close to being done with the extreme makeover of our front yard. We got our bark and the weeping cherry tree on Monday night. It is amazing what a difference bark makes! It looks so good, if I do say so myself. I will post pictures when I take them. The cherry tree is actually our wedding gift to each other. We didn’t get each other anything when we got married because we were going to get the tree right away. Well… a year later still counts, right?
This Saturday is a very important day. First, but not the most important reason, is that it is the Riverbank Run. I am up to the distance now, but the speed part isn’t exactly happening. We will see how it goes. Secondly, it is indeed our one year anniversary! After the run we are heading up to the Grand Traverse Resort until Tuesday! I just love that area up there and the resort is supposed to be awesome. Yay!
