The boys are here!

Identical twins, Noah John and Jonah James were born today, August 13. Noah came first and weighed around 2 lbs and 3 oz. Jonah came next and weighed around 1 lb 9 oz. I have to get the exact numbers again, but I am pretty sure it’s close. 🙂 Audrey is doing well and is recovering from her c-section. The twins had something called Twin to Twin Transfusion. Noah was obviously the recipient so he received a lot of the blood nutrients from Jonah. However, they actually decided to take the boys out because of Noah. His blood flow through the umbilical cord was irregular and wasn’t healthy. They actually said that if they hadn’t of taken them out, Noah wouldn’t have made it another week. So, both boys are now growing strong and getting bigger. They will most likely stay in the hospital until their due date, so that’s another two to three months. They of course have a long road yet, but they overcome the really hard parts already. Jim and I got to see them tonight. What tiny and precious boys. Praise God for two new beautiful lives!
