Updates

Update time…

  • Loving the weather! I know… it’s time to change the blog template, but that will have to wait.
  • Lost the final game of our volleyball tournament on Monday… dang it. I hate second place.
  • Leaving for Mississippi on Sunday at 6 PM. Pray for safety and a good time!
  • Long time dream… I feel like this should start with an “l.” I am starting up my personal web design business. WkB design… here’s the website: www.wkb-design.com There isn’t anything on it yeyt, but check back as I make updates. I am creating pages for Jim’s body shop and the towing company next door. I am really excited. Here we go!
  • Love of my life… pray for Jim as he is all alone next week. I will be gone and his family will be down south for Spring Break. I am sure he will make it, but it will be weird for him.
  • Lastly, we have a new car, so my Saturn is up for sale. Here’s the details: 1995 Saturn SC1 2-door with 140,000 miles on it. It runs OK, but has loud exhaust. The moon roof works though! It’s worth around $1500. Let me know if you or anyone you know is interested. Here’s a picture of what it looks like. Mine is a brighter red and our lawn isn’t that green. 🙂

Make it a good day!

  1. Wendy! I’ll be praying for you next week- you can count on that.
That’s is EXCITING that you’re starting your own business, I have not one ounce of entreprenourial spirit within me (and I can’t even spell it).
Along the lines of cars. . . manual cars? Are they still your curse? 😉

  2. So, Lacey normally reads your blog, not me, but I linked to it from our comments. I tend to call it “The Broom’s Blog” cause it makes me laugh.

Way to go starting your own web design business! I like your eye for design (even if you are showing snow flakes in April…it is snowing today). I may be able to push some clients your way in the future…it can be too much to do along with my full-time job. Are you quitting your full-time job or just moonlighting?

Can I offer some tips before you get too far on your portfolio site (without seeming like a jerk)?
