Sooo, it’s March. Saturday and today was quite impressive – there was actually sun!
But, then I looked at the 7 day forecast. I can’t decide if that’s a stupid thing to do or a smart thing to do. In case you are wondering, it’s supposed to snow every day and here’s the highlight – 24 degrees on Friday.
5K season is starting soon. March 15th is the Irish Jig. Michele and I have a slogan for this race, but I can’t repeat it here… I don’t know if little eyes are reading. The first year we ran it, it was 30 and sleeting and there was an inch of slush on the ground. And we may or may not have gotten a late start and had to run an extra half mile to even get to the starting line. The second year, we made Jim join in the misery. There was no slush or sleet, but it was 18 degrees and I am pretty sure the air froze the instant it came out of my body and maybe even starting freezing on the way out. Not nice. I am hoping for 40 with no precipitation this year. Is that too much to ask for… in March??
it’s not too much to ask for!! you’re gonna have the best irish jig yet…probably because i’m not running it with you this year… ha
