Marriage March

Jim and I spent the weekend at the Family Life marriage conference at the Amway Grand. Solid stuff… We both learned so much more about marriage. We realize now that it will be even harder than we thought, but that it is well worth it. The advice and stories we heard was so good. I can’t write it all on here, so ask Jim or I about it. I really really recommend it to anyone. There were dating couples, engaged couples, newly weds, and even a couple that had been married for 58 years. Anyone can get something out of it. It is an exhausting weekend, so don’t expect any relaxation. But again, so worth it. Plus, the Amway Grand has a Starbucks in it’s lobby! Just make sure you can “hold your coffee.” The sessions go for an hour or so… 😉

Can you believe it’s April this weekend? Daylight Savings time already!?!? Which means the sun will set later. Yippie!

Sorry that this post is less than par… if you are lucky I may type more later. Until then… enjoy your last Monday in March!

Oh… and go George Mason!!

  1. Hey Wendy & Jim! This is Justin Heap (& Trisha)…from Grand Rapids. Except, now Nashville – Okay, that was slightly confusing!

At any rate, it’s great to hear from you guys. Jim, I don’t believe we’ve ever met, but I have heard only great things.

Everyone says the wedding day will come before you know it – but that’s always confused me…because we all know it’s May 12th!

Alrighty then, we look forward to keeping up with you guys – and we have a blogspot blog, too! Down with Xanga.

See ya! And (belated) Congrats on the engagement…

  2. Wendy,
I want to hear all about the conference! Was it a Love and Respect Conference? I’m glad you guys had a good time- it’s coming so quickly!
    Chaeli 🙂
